Kehynde Hill is one of the most sought after and respected HipHop instructor and choreographers working in Miami today. Before Kehynde began teaching and choreographing professionally, he had the opportunity to train as a dancer and work with some of the industries finest Instructors. He has worked in films, TV commercials, and Music Videos giving him a firm grasp on what today’s dance industry is all about.

Kehyde is the founder of Dance Utopia, Inc. an innovative dance company as well as a cutting edge talent agency. He is also the founder of Fresh Masters, Inc. a nonprofit organization that uses dance to give back to the community.

Although his training began in his hometown of Miami, Kehynde Hill has received significant training at some of the countries most distinguished and professional dance studios. He has trained at both MILLENNIUM DANCE COMPLEX and DEBBIE REYNOLDS STUDIO in Los Angeles. While in California he trained under Dave Scott, Mardy Kadelka, Chonique Sneed and Lissette Bustamante – these are some of the most popular choreographers in the west coast.

However, his training did not stop there…

Kehynde knew how important it was to expose himself to a wide variety of hiphop to ensure he was “well rounded” and versatile. His quest for hiphop mastery led him discover and perfect “East Coast” HipHop styles. He trained at New York’s famous BROADWAY DANCE CENTER, where the professional New York dance scene goes to perfect their craft. During this time, he trained with both Brian Green and Jazy J – two of the industry’s most popular and sought after HipHop choreographers.

As a dancer, Kehynde has worked in all aspects of the entertainment industry…

He can be seen in Missy Elliot’s music video titled This is for My People, Monica’s music video Set it Off, Tank’s music video Let Me Live, and Chris Brown’s music video Kiss Kiss.

He has also starred in films such as MIAMI VICE and AMERICAN IDOL THE MOVIE – JUSTIN AND KELLY.

Kehynde has danced LIVE Stage Performances with Chris Brown at the MTV VMA’s, Ashley Simpson at Orange Bowl, and Premio lo Nuestro. In addition, Kehynde was also featured in the popular FORD Commercial Flash the Griddles.

Dancing is not the only aspect of his career that he has been successful in. He has also established himself in the dance industry as a sought after choreographer…

He starred in, choreographed, and directed the HipHop Kidz film IT’S A BEAUTIFUL THING.

He has choreographed for Artist Ivy Queen, for the BET Spring Bling, NIKE and Hennessey.

Kehynde’s dance career is only beginning and he is so excited to share his passion and knowledge of dance with all of the students at Artistic Soul Studios. As the HipHop director, Kehynde hopes to not only give his students the skills to dance professionally, but also to help them understand what it takes to work in today’s HipHop dance industry.
