Our Philosophy
An open letter to all visitors from the studio staff:
Finally! A Performing Arts studio that breaks the status quo and give clients exactly what they want. Miami has been the victim of conformity and its about time somebody came and turned things upside down. That’s why we think we are starting a revolution…
A Performing Arts revolution!
Over the years, we’ve noticed that just about all performing arts studios – be it dance, voice, and drama are stuck in a depressing and boring cycle of conformity. They tend to look the same, they tend to offer the same classes, and they approach instruction and curriculum in the same way that it’s done at every other place. The result is an experience that limits the exposure to arts that students are seeking and craving for. It creates an experience with little diversity and options that bores students and turns them off to developing a love for the Performing Arts.
So how’s this new Performing Arts Studio different?
Here are some of the main “big” reasons…
-
Highly Qualified Staff – Our profit margins will be lower, but your satisfaction will be higher.
A critical factor in your overall satisfaction is the teacher. If the teacher is not qualified, your experience will not be all that it can be. We know this from first hand experience, feedback, and research. With that in mind, we’ve made it our objective and goal to fix this. We’ve made a commitment to compensating our teachers at very competitive rates as well as providing them with the tools and mechanisms to keep them motivated and enthusiastic about their involvement.
- Character Development & Life Skills – Because there’s more to life than the performing arts.
We are firm believers in the value that the performing arts provide to students. However, we realize that younger students need to develop critical life skills that will be needed throughout their lives. We’ve partnered up with a child psychologist that has created, developed, and perfected a character development program that helps students develop important life skills. -
A diverse Dance Program – Students… Broaden your dance possibilities and discover your true passion!
One size does NOT fit all. Our Artistic Director knows that some kids have a love/hate relationship with various dance forms. We’ve tried to develop a course offering that is diverse and allows students to explore the different types of dance available to them. This is also a big benefit for the advanced dancers that want to pursue dance in a more serious manner. Many times, serious students will not be exposed and trained in different forms of dance. This quickly becomes a very large problem should they decide to pursue a professional career. They will find that their options for professional jobs are much harder to find because they are only good at one or two dance forms.
-
A unique Drama Component – Develop self confidence, versatility, and many additional skills with our drama component.
There are numerous benefits to pursuing the study of Theatrics and Arts. We’ll be discussing those in detail as we approach our business launch. What is important for you to know is that our Performing Arts Studio will be offering a Drama and Theatrics component that will enhance the overall experience of the student. For students that have wanted to try out Acting, we’ll be offering an intimate setting where they can explore this side of the Performing Arts.
-
A voice and singing program – Are YOU the next American Idol?
Many successful singers never knew they had a talent hidden within them. Why not discover if YOU could be one of those singers? Any Performing Arts studio would not be complete without offering a program where its students could discover for themselves whether singing is a passion and talent they would like to pursue.
-
Wellness and Health Principles – Longterm success depends on a sound mind and body.
Success in the pursuit of the Performing Arts depends heavily on the student maintaining control over their mind and body. You can be the best dancer or singer, but if you don’t take care of your body and mind, you will not enjoy long term success. Our programs will involve sub components that will help guide and inform students on the principles of character development, healthy nutrition, and stress management. The Performing Arts can sometimes be strenuous both physically and mentally. We know this and will be implementing programs that will help students develop their “Health and Wellness” intelligence. This skill will remain with students for the rest of their lives and will be transferable to other pursuits!
-
Respect for scholarly pursuits – At the end of the day… The student’s scholarly pursuits is our number one priority.
Nothing makes us happier than dedicated Performing Arts students. However, at the end of the day, pursuit of the Performing Arts should be an extracurricular activity that comes AFTER a primary education. One of our basic guiding principles is that we understand the value of a good education and getting the most out of it. Students will be encouraged to develop and maintain high grade point averages through the use of various motivational components that will be integrated into our overall program. Rest assured, students will NOT be discriminated against for prioritizing their school work.

Our Studio is a business – not a hobby. When you join us, you’ll enjoy the benefits of an organization that has been designed from the ground up to run like a business and not someone’s hobby.
Many studios in our area are run by teachers that decided to become business owners. There is a big problem when a business is run that way – it doesn’t run as well as it should. The teachers are usually great at their craft, but not very good at running a business. The result is a business that is poorly managed, disorganized, and with little or zero policies and procedures in place to avoid problems in the first place and/or fix them when they happen. You may think this is not a problem until you become aware of little problems… Little problems such as:
- Late fees for tournaments, competitions, and other activities that parents have to pay because of management disorganization…
- Little to no channels of communication to have your voice heard by the owners and/or management…
- Last minute and unannounced calendar and schedule changes that disturb YOUR schedule.
- Frequent last minute class cancellations…
- 15 year old head instructors… (Note: 15 year old can be great assistants!)
- Little or non existent customer service.
- Last minute recital and competition changes and preparations.
We don’t need to go into detail as to how the above little problems can be such a big annoyance. If you’ve been involved in any studio before, you may have been a victim of these issues. Our studio has been designed and built from the ground up with policies, processes, and procedures in place to help avoid these problems.
Our philosophy is to have high standards for our curriculum as well as our methods of operations. However, please understand the following… We are still in the service business and when you provide a service that is provided by people just like you and me, there are always bound to be problems. We certainly will not be the exception. There will likely be issues – especially in the beginning. However, this is the important difference between our Performing Arts studio and the rest of your options…
When we make a mistake, we’ll make it right…
The difference between a business that is run like a hobby and one that is run like a business is how management deals with the problems. Our studio will be run by tested and proved management principles and will develop and offer numerous ways for YOU the student or parent to have your comments, questions, and concerns heard AND implemented. When your suggestions come in (which we will expect AND request) we will take action to FIX problems and inconsistencies. A business is always evolving and it is always a “work in progress”. We know exactly who OUR boss is – you the client!
Have you been nodding your head in agreement as you’ve been reading this? Then we think it’s time for you to register now.
Thank You!
